白鳥

ウミネコ。飛んでいるところをパッと見ただけじゃカモメなのかウミネコなのか、まだよく見分けがつかない。

Black-tailed gull.It is difficult to distinguish between a Black-tailed gull and a Common gull with a quick glace.

こちらもウミネコ。

This is also a Black-tailed gull.

オオハクチョウ。声がするので見上げると数羽が飛んでいく。もう来てるんだ。

Whooper swan.These birds have already come to the Lake.

親子かな？

カメラを構えていると若鳥が近くに寄ってきた。

While we were taking pictures, a young swan approached us.

ミズカマキリ。迂闊にも初めて見た。

Water stick insect.

セイヨウナナカマドかな？赤が綺麗。

Rowan?Red berries are very beautiful.

オジロワシとか、鮭とか

ヤマゲラ。目の前の木に飛んできたけれど、こちらが見ているもんだからじっと動かない。

Grey-headed Woodpecker.　This bird flew into a tree near us. It stayed still while we watched.

カワラヒワ。夕陽を浴びて颯爽と。

Oriental Greenfinch. This bird was standing on a tree in the sun setting.

ユリカモメ。あちこちたくさん飛んでいる。

Black-headed Gull.　This bird often flies in Abashiri.

ヒガラ。松の実を啄んでいるところ。

Coal tit. This bird was eating pine seeds.

オジロワシ。わりと目撃することが多くなってきたけれど、やはり見つけるとうれしくて何枚も撮ってしまう。

White-tailed eagle. Recently, we can sometimes see this bird. Even so, we are still happy when we see it.

左が成鳥、右が若鳥かな？

アッケシソウ（サンゴソウ）とカモ。

Common Glasswort and Duck.

やっぱりエゾリス。距離が近い。

Hokkaido Squirre.

この時期、湖は鮭でいっぱい。一体何匹いるんだろうか？

During this season we can see a lot of sarmon in the Abashiri Lake.

湖面からも透けて見えてる。

京都府京都市尊勝院

もう久しく京都には行っていない。これをいただいたのは７、８年前のこと。だいたい普通は青蓮院門跡を目指すはず。もちろんここは見るべきところがたくさん。そのうえ静かでとてもいいお寺。一度は行っておいた方がいいと思う。

それで、このお札は少し離れた尊勝院でいただく。少し道が分かりにくかったと思う。元三大師のお札だけじゃなくて、みざる、きかざる、いわざるの三猿のお札もいただける。

八坂神社、知恩院と一緒に回ることができるのでせっかくなら青蓮院門跡まで足を伸ばした方がいい。ついでにいつも十六五に寄ってから帰る。本店じゃなくていつも決まって行くのは東山・青蓮院前店。

This temple, Sonsyo-in, is in Kyoto city and very small. The path to the temple is a bit confusing. Shoren-in temple is near the temple and more famous.Shoren-in is very nice and quiet and has a lot of things to see. If you visit this temple, we recommend visiting this shop, Tourokugo .

タンチョウ

先週の十勝。どういうわけか畑のあちこちにタンチョウの親子が。道沿いのすぐ近くで何かを食べていたりする。見つけたって国道じゃすぐには止められない。みんなどうした？これって普通の光景なんかな？

We saw some families of Red-crowned cranes the week before in Tokachi Eria in Hokkaido. Was it normal ? We don’t know.

海で、湖で

キアシシギの幼鳥かな？

Grey-tailed Tattler.Probably young birds.

こちらもキアシシギ。

ヒメウ、ユリカモメ、ウミネコ。カモメがいるな、なんて撮ってみるといろんな鳥がいたりする。

Pelagic Cormorant , Black-headed Gull , Black-tailed gull.

セグロカモメ　対　ハシブトガラス。セグロカモメの幼鳥がたぶん鮭の頭を食べようとしているところ。ハシブトガラスが横取りして、この後、親セグロカモメが取り返すことになる

Seagulls vs. crows. A young seagull lost a fish head to crows.

アオサギ。どうした？どうしてそこにそんなに集まってるんだ？

Lots of Grey heron.

オジロワシ。驚かせて飛ばしてしまった。実はこっちが先に驚いた。まさかすぐ近くの木に止まっているとは思いもよらなかったもんだから。慌てたもんだから嫌がられた。

White-tailed eagle.　We surprised this bird. We didn’t know that the bird was perched in a nearby tree.

遠いし気温のせいで画像がにじんでいるけれどタンチョウヅルの親子。

コスモス。

さんご草。

さんご草と赤とんぼ。

オジロワシとか、ハヤブサとか

ゴイサギの幼鳥。もう今はこの木にはいない。どこ行ったんだろ？

Black-crowned night heron. This is a young bird. But this is not in this tree anymore.

こちらもゴイサギ。

湖やら川があちこちにあるので当然ミサゴも飛んでいく。

Osprey.

ノビタキ。それなりに近づくことができるので観察しやすい。

Siberian Stonechat.This bird is relatively easy to observe.

こちらもノビタキ。

オジロワシ。こんなの普通はなかなかいないと思うんだけど、ここら辺ではどういうわけかちょくちょく見かける。もっと近くを飛んでいることもあるんだけれど、まさかこんなところで？と思うような住宅街の上とかを飛んでいくもんだからそもそもカメラを構えてすらいないことが多い。初めてちゃんと撮れた。

こちらもオジロワシ。

In Japan we can’t normally see this brid. But in Abashiri city we sometimes see this bird.

これはゴジュウカラ。

Eurasian nuthatch.

こちらもゴジュウカラ。木の枝を突っついてる。

ウがなんだろ？うなぎかな？アナゴ？なんだか長細い魚をくわえたところ。

あれはさすがに長すぎないか？と思ってみてた。

でもちゃんと呑み込んだ。

A cormorant got a long fish. At first we wondered if that bird could eat such a long fish. But finally the bird ate the fish.

ハヤブサ。名前のとおりこの時はものすごく速かった。なかなかピントを合わせられない。

Peregrine Falcon. This bird can fly very fast as is well known. And the bird was flying like that at this time.

こっちもハヤブサ。ハヤブサで思い出したけれど、この動画をたまに見てる。

We watch this video occasionally.

そいで左の２羽のハヤブサに追い立てられるハトの群れ。

A flock of pigeons being chased by two falcons.

道端に小さなヘビ。黒いからシマヘビあたりの黒化個体かな？

It is a black snake, but we don't know its name.
