能取岬で

シノリガモ。冬の北海道ではあちこちで見られるとはいえ、やはり初めて見るとうれしい。

Harlequin duck. Athough these birds are common in Hokkaido in winter, it is still nice to see them for the first time.

肉眼で海を見たってほとんど何も見えない。ただ海が見えるだけ。

If we look at the ocean with the nakey eye, we can just see the ocean.

でも、双眼鏡やフィールドスコープで見ると少し沖合には驚くほどたくさんの海鳥がいる。アビ？、カモメ、ヒメウなんかがたくさん。

But if we look with binoculars or a spotting scope, we will be surprised to see a lot of seabirds.
